A one-day improv comedy festival to celebrate Women’s History Month and the women who make us laugh! March 1st at Finest City Improv.
In honor of Women’s History Month in March, 2025, we are hosting a celebration of women who make us laugh. “That’s What She Said” Fest brings noted Los Angeles Improv teams Dock of the Bay, Bernie Mac & Cheese,Singin’ in the Range, and Portland’s Stacey Hallal, to San Diego for a day of workshops and shows featuring top female-identifying talent.
Join festival producers and hosts Jean Diedrich, Tess Karesky, Niki Kal, Amber Largent & Anushree Singh, Erica Clermont & Rebecca McGinley to celebrate the role women have played in the development of the art of improvisation. From its inception to current international stars, improv has been guided by the wit and wisdom of women such as Viola Spolin, Tina Fey, and Amy Poehler.
The celebration has workshops on March 1-2, 2025 and with an evening of shows on the 1st!
