Musical improv intensive with the maestro of improv George Caleodis!
5 hours of musical improv instruction and coaching. Students are introduced to vocal performance, production, projection, and the fundamental concepts of musical improvisation. Learn with one of the best in Hollywood in a fun and supportive environment.
Prerequisite: Scenic improv experience (level 2 or above).
Dates: Sunday, September 29 from 11 – 4:30pm (with half-hour break)
Tuition: $50 ($10 early registration discount available up to one week before start date!)
George teaches improv and musical improv at the Second City Training Center in Los Angeles. He currently writes, directs, and performs with several Los Angeles troupes including ‘The Cartel’, iO West’s ‘Main Stage Sketch Show’ and ‘POP’ company.’ SCLA’s ‘Bingo’, ‘Edmund Serves Coffee’ and ‘The Family Funk’. In addition to teaching, coaching, and performing improv and sketch comedy, George has spent much of the last 15 years as a radio DJ and stand-up comic – opening for the likes of Kathleen Madigan, Frank Caliendo, and The Righteous Brothers.
