Radio personality, Tommy Hough will be on the Finest City Stage with the “World According To…” THIS FRIDAY, JULY 18th AT 8PM!
Tommy Hough is best known to San Diegans from his 10 years on the air at FM 94/9 from 2002 to 2012, where he not only co-hosted and produced mornings, but later served as afternoon host and Public Affairs Director. Tommy also produced his Treehuggers International environmental affairs show while at FM 94/9, started the Rock and Roll Happy Hour in conjunction with Stone Brewing, and began the long-running Brunch With Bob and Friends Sunday morning Bob Marley show, now heard on Rez Radio 91.3.
Tommy also handled communications work for the San Diego County Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, and assisted with messaging and multimedia on a U.S. House race. He then went to Portland for 18 months to lead Oregon Wild’s communications and media coordination efforts. While in Portland, Tommy also developed his High Octane Growler craft beer podcast, and was on the air at Portland’s legendary 101.9 KINK.
Upon returning to San Diego earlier this year, Tommy made his return to San Diego airwaves on 102.1 KPRI. He is currently lending communications assistance to another San Diego-area congressional race, doing reporting and editing for the Public News Service, and working to increase environmental awareness and action in San Diego.
A native of Pittsburgh, Tommy attended college in Ohio before spending several years living and working in Seattle, where he became a popular radio personality at stations like KZOK and 107.7 The End, and spent a great deal of time on the trail in the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. He married his wife Cory in 2006.
Come see Tommy on stage this Friday as he reveals true life stories that inspire our improvisers to create comedy gold!
