Finest City Improv is the place to laugh this fall! We might not need to bundle up come November in San Diego, but it is certainly the time of year where friends and family enjoy spending a bit more time together and a bit more time indoors.
At Finest City Improv we offer a unique, entertaining night out that you and those close to you can enjoy together. We present bold comedy improv every Thursday through Sunday, and we offer a fully stocked bar and a delicious food menu. Tickets range from just $6 – $10.00 nightly and we never have a drink minimum.

Four Aces written and performed by Kevin McGeehan
Acclaimed storyteller Kevin McGeehan, of The Moth and Second City, visits Finest City Improv for one night only! Catch his solo performance on Saturday, November 8 @ 8PM. Four Aces tells the true story of how a deceased parent and a handwritten journal helped Kevin avoid Federal drug charges. You do not want to miss this exclusive performance! Tickets are just $10 and include an improv performance from the team Husky, the biggest thing in San Diego improv!
The World According To…!
The World According To…! is one of Finest City Improv’s featured house teams. This talented cast performs every Friday @ 8PM. Each performance features a special guest from the San Diego community. This guest is invited to share a few stories with the audience, which are then used as inspiration for a hilarious montage of scenes. This month we welcome the Studio Manager of Hipcooks San Diego, Christina Espinosa, and the Associate Director of Education & Outreach at La Jolla Playhouse, Alison Urban. You do not want to miss these two ladies in action! Catch their performances Friday, November 7 and Friday, November 14 respectively, and keep an eye on our website as we announce the rest of November’s special guests!
Duo-Prov Night!
Join us on Thursday, November 20 for a showcase of some of our favorite duo-provs, teams featuring just two players. We like this form because it allows for some seriously detailed scene work and really shows the range of the performers! Tonight’s special lineup includes the teams I Knew You Were Coming, Fourth Date, Bicoastal, Dickless Wizard, T&A and Pick & Roll! Performances being @ 8PM and tickets cost just $6!
Thanksgiving Leftovers at Finest City Improv
Bring your family, freshly stuffed with turkey, to Finest City Improv Friday, November 28 through Sunday, November 30. Although we will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, we look forward to entertaining you and your out of town (or local) guests Friday, Saturday and Sunday night! We’ve got shows starting at 8PM each night, and we’d love for you to join us. Plus we’ll be unveiling our exclusive holiday gift certificate package with a special Black Friday price tag!
