School is back in session and just before the Cajon Valley School District teachers returned to their classrooms we had the incredible honor of facilitating a multi-day workshop to help them embrace change with the tools of improv!
We worked with the educators to help them get “unstuck” from practices and systems that have grown obsolete and get their students ready for the modern world. They made this amazing 1-minute video about it!
“We had the opportunity to bring in Finest City Improv to lead workshops with both our district management team as well as our Committee of 100. Redesigning public education in the United States for the current and future world of work requires the ability to create something from scratch. The learning we engaged with around Improvisation amplified our teams ability to communicate, collaborate, and really get out of our comfort zones. The instructors had us up, active, and laughing out loud. It was a great exercise in team building, but more than that it was the perfect process to help us start moving towards our common vision with purpose and alignment.”
