Love sketch comedy shows and wish you too could write like the pros?
Due to the many phone calls, emails and student inquiries, Finest City Improv is thrilled to announce that Tommy Galan is teaching sketch comedy writing beginning September 4th! Learn the elements of sketch from idea generation to stage reading. This course will introduce you to sketch concepts and writing techniques used to create original material consistently. You will both generate unique sketches as well as learn time-tested formulas and methods. Each week you will write, table-read, and edit sketches. You may even present full scenes if stage ready!
Great for beginners, although you are encouraged to bring any prior sketches or ideas to workshop as well.
This class meets on Thursdays from 7-9pm beginning September 4th.
Tommy Galan is a professional improviser, corporate trainer , comedy writer and producer of award winning comedy troupe, “FUCT”. His writing has been featured in international comedy festivals including Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Austin, and Charleston.

What is the cost of the SKETCH COMEDY WRITING CLASS? Where is it held? Who can I call to hear more details and ask more questions? I clicked on the register link but did not see any registration information for this class. Thank you for your help.
