Description:
Play! Explore! Laugh!
This is a fun introduction to the basics of improvised comedy for teens. Utilizing the educational approach originally taught by Viola Spolin at Hull House in Chicago, this is a highly interactive class, in which students will be on their feet.
Working together to create original scenarios off the top of their heads, students will exercise their imaginations and truly listen to one another as they collaborate. They will also joyfully explore the value of their own uniqueness and thoughtfully value that of others–everyone’s voice is needed to create!
When: 7 Saturdays from 9:30 – 11:30am beginning November 2nd.
Class Dates: 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 12/7, 12/14, 12/21. No class Thanksgiving week.
