In Her Own Words
I’m a Nurse Practitioner at the Veterans Hospital. I care for patients who are admitted there and also help them transition back into their homes.
I tried level one, my teacher was Skyler, and I LOVED IT, and I’ve been coming back ever since!
I‘ve definitely learned to be more confident in myself and listening... that was the biggest takeaway I remember from level one and just being like really present and like listening to people being an active listener because that’s important when you’re doing improv.
Improv really opens up just like this silly playful side that I have and I don’t really have any other outlet to do it. So I really like coming here and being myself.
We are just a whole spectrum of people, but we’re able to all come together, and we have this baseline love for comedy, love for improv, and being together. So I think the FCI community is very diverse and inclusive and I definitely feel safe talking to anyone, and everyone’s really friendly and nice.
