We’re delighted to have improv student Jeffrey Wolpert in our Community Spotlight. He didn’t know he started a new chapter when he found us and he is loving his story! So are we… watch his video!
In his own words
Life has been good. It’s been easier.
My name is Jeffrey Wolpert. I moved from New York City to San Diego almost two years ago. It wasn’t until a year into living here that I thought I should branch out, outside of work. This has definitely helped with the transition.
The Finest City Improv community, it’s welcoming. I would say it’s diverse. Everyone’s very supportive of you and they want you to succeed. All the teachers, all the staff, even the students, we’re all here to have fun and make each other laugh.
It’s a new and exciting way to connect with people.
You’re gonna play fun games. You’re gonna loosen up. You’re going to meet a lot of people and you’re gonna have a teacher that’s gonna take care of you and be oh, so supportive.
You’re gonna feel like it’s a new chapter in your life and a new way to discover more about yourself.
It’s a happy place to be at, and positive, and supportive. I probably said that. But I’ll say it again.
And then I can be funny. (laughs)
